About:
This website is a personal photographic record of buildings across the Glasgow region.
The site features photographs of buildings that I have found to be interesting and significant from the minor quirks of the built environment like the self-constructed doocots, to the mass of abandoned derelict buildings, to the world reknown architectural gems that feature across Glasgow.
Initially launched with some 50 pages of buildings, the website has been repeatedly updated and currently has almost 100 pages of buildings, with many more photographed and pages in the offing, and with more travels around Glasgow with my camera, even more pages are in the pipeline, along with occasional updates to existing pages as new photo opportunites present, or the featured building undergoes a change. The intention is to continue to add pages and incorporate more of the landmark buildings of Glasgow which initially do not feature too heavily as these are already significantly covered elsewhere. With literally 100s of potential buildings and structures which could be included the site is initially a somewhat random collection, but with time is intended to be built into a far more comprehensive resource.

Background:
With a background in web and graphic design, a degree in Architecture from the GSA and currently studying for further construction/built environment qualifications, and a keen interest in photography, this website combines my interests and work experiences in a personal tour of the built environment of Glasgow. Despite this education my opinions here are expressed in a personal, and not professional context.

Equipment:
The earliest photographs are taken with a variety of Panasonic compacts, recent photographs are taken with a Canon compact and/or a Sony dslr following a long overdue upgrade in photographic equipment.

High resolution versions of all photographs suitable for print purposes are available upon request.
Fees may apply for commercial usage.
