Doocots: From east to west, numbers 11-15:
The Doocots are documented across these pages from east to west in the order they appear across the map of the city. Here are doocots 11 through to 14.


Doocot Number 11:
Black painted low doocot on the east sde of the old railway bridge over the junction of Anniesland and Dumbarton Road.

east elevations and view westwards across the bridge in 2011, the next doocot can be seen in the distance. Our doocot here is a relatively low in height structure and has been daubed with graffitii from the local Young Scotstoun Fleeto miscreants with their tag (09/06/11)

Doocot Number 12:
Sited on the west side of the railway bridge is another black doocot.

Doocot Number 13:
A pair of structures on the slope leading up to the former site of two tower blocks which were demolished in the second half of 2010.

Doocot Number 14:
Once overshadowed by the twin tower blocks which have since been demolished, this green dooct is sited some 30 metres form the last featured doocot above.

Doocot Number 15:
This doocot is sited in a private communal garden halfway between Scotstoun and Yoker on the south side of the cycle path. This one is unusual as the bottom half has had a render applied and the structure is brown rather than the usual green and/or black. The upper portion is reclaimed weathered timber.
