Education:
Like any major city Glasgow has a great many educational buildings, from the George Gilbert Scott designed 19th century Glasgow University spire and building, to the many sandstone Victorian and Edwardian schools built in a turn of the century school building boom, many of which now lie empty through to the architectural superstar building that is Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow School of Art. Along the way there are many school janitor houses, 1960s brutalist buildings and more modern well lit expansive schools from the recent new schools building programme. A few are featured below, with time more pages are to be added.
