south west corner, with the short west elevation onto Glendore Street. The roof on the corner is reminescent of French chateau roofs with its truncated square turret design, not the casselated stonewrok at the roof's base (30/06/2011)

west elevation, with the variety of window forms (30/06/2011)

stepped window at the staircase on the west elevation (30/06/2011)

pedimented window on the west elevation with flared scroll work to each side (30/06/2011)

like all school of this period the school board and name are carved into the stonework (30/06/2011)

south-west corner, with the square truncated tower, and the long south elevation along Medwyn Street (30/06/2011)

the square tower at the west end of the south elevation, note the dripstone wrapped around the top of the ground floor window (30/06/2011)

the original slate roof with casellated detail at the top of the wall (30/06/2011)

govan parish school board stone carving (30/06/2011)

south-east elevation (30/06/2011)

east elevation, like the west elevation there is a variety of window forms across the elevation, the stepped large window with half round top reveals there is a stair at this end of the building as well (30/06/2011)

light classical detailing around the east entrance (30/06/2011)

west elevation window high on the facade (30/06/2011)

top of the east elevation, note the mortar repair at the peak, minor plant growth which if left unchecked will damage the stone work. There is evidence of missing pointing too here, further weakening the stonework at this vulnerable area (30/06/2011)
