St. Vincent Street U.P. Church - Alexander 'Greek' Thomson:
Opened in 1859 as a United Presbyterian Church. Category A listing. Designed by architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson. An architectural masterpiece to the west of the city centre. A Glasgow City Free Church owned by Glasgow City Council and rented from them. The spire underwent a £5 million restoration recently, however the rest of the building still awaits the proper attention it is due. One of Scotland's and the UK's most important 19th century buildings.
